Nedim Durakovic, MD

Fellowship in Neurotology

Next step: Joining the neurotologists on the faculty here at Washington University.

Highlight of fellowship: "The highlight of fellowship for me has been the relationships that I have formed with the people I work with every day. Many different people have given their time and effort to train me, and I look forward to growing these relationships in the future and contributing to the training of others. I’m very excited about the future at Washington University."

Sean Massa, MD

Fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction

Next step: Joining the faculty here at Washington University to help build up the head and neck cancer practice at the John Cochrane VA Hospital and pursuing a Masters in Clinical Science Investigation.

Highlight of fellowship: "Some of the highlights this year were participating in collaborative discussions among all the faculty to plan complex cases and having several opportunities to do double free flaps."

Zain Rizvi, MD

Fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction

Next step: Entertaining a number of exciting offers.

Highlight of fellowship: "I enjoyed the camaraderie and team approach to providing innovative care to patients. I have grown since being at Washington University and am excited to carry what I’ve learned in the next steps of my career."

Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Next step: Joining a private practice in the Cincinnati area with Premier Health System.
