The vision of the Department of Otolaryngology is to be the premiere program for the treatment of ear, nose and throat disorders in the world.
To achieve our vision, our mission is to improve health care through the development of new knowledge arising from a balanced program of research, teaching and clinical services in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery, and to achieve maximum individual and departmental potential through the ethical coordination of talent and resources.
The departmental mission embodies three elements: purpose, value and behavior standards.
