Nedim Durakovic, MD

Hometown: Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Personal Statement: I chose Washington University because of the strong clinical and surgical exposure allowing for a complete education in Otolaryngology. St. Louis has a diverse patient population including the largest Bosnian immigrant community in the United States and I was drawn by the opportunity to care for this population. Guided by my clinical exposure and supportive faculty mentorship, I decided to further pursue training in Neurotology after graduation. During my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking, learning different languages, rowing, and playing basketball.
