Zachary Douglas, MD

Hometown: Redmond, WA

Personal Statement: I grew up in Washington State, attended Washington University in St. Louis for my undergraduate studies, moved to Washington, D.C., to work at the NIH, returned home to University of Washington in Seattle for medical school, and now am thrilled to come full circle back to Washington University in St. Louis for my otolaryngology training.

Beyond my affinity for places named for our first president, I chose Washington University for its world class operative training, cutting edge research program, and friendly culture. WashU stood out among other historically renowned institutions as an otolaryngology program that produces superb surgeon-scientists without compromise in the surgical experience of residents.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, classic hip-hop, and spending time with my wife and son.
