WashU Residents Participate in MOST Boot Camp

Several Oto residents and faculty recently participated in the  3rd Annual Midwest Otolaryngology Simulation Training (MOST) course on Saturday, July 14, 2018.  The course, designed as a bootcamp for junior residents, has completed two successful rounds since starting in 2016.  The course was expanded this year to include rising PGY2 residents. Host facility for the course was once again, the Saint Louis University School of Medicine Simulation Lab. Planned stations for the boot camp included: Build a Bronch; Fiberoptic laryngoscopy and intubation; Complex Scenario/Difficult Communication; Cricothyrotomy; and Local flaps and suturing. The course attracted participants from UT Memphis, Mizzou, St. Louis University, and Washington University.  Participating WashU faculty included co-Director John Chi, David Molter, and Patrik Pipkorn. Participating WashU residents included Ben Wahle and Stephanie Chen.
