ENDOLYMPHATIC DUCT

Section 309: The stapedius muscle (sm) is disappearing inferior to the pyramidal bend (VIIe) of the facial nerve. The non-sensory portions of both the posterior (psc) and lateral (lsc) semicircular canals are still in two parts. The endolymphatic duct (ed) can be followed to the surface of the temporal bone, posterior to the internal auditory meatus. The body of the incus (i) is visible in the epitympanic recess. EAM - External auditory meatus.
