Her clinical interests include endoscopic laryngeal imaging and videostroboscopy, gender spectrum voice and communication services, and treatment of paradoxical vocal fold motion. Marie has experience in evaluation and treatment of both pediatric and adult populations with voice and upper airway disorders.

Much of Neal's practice is dedicated to speech and swallow rehabilitation of patients undergoing surgery, radiation, or chemotherapy for the management of head and neck cancer. She has great experience with modified barium swallow studies and treatment of the total laryngectomy patient, including fitting tracheo-esophageal voice prostheses.
