Unveiled just this morning, the Journal of the Canadian Academy of Audiology, Canadian Audiologist, published a full edition tribute to the career of Michael Valente, PhD. Nine articles, submitted by colleagues and former students, describe the care and devotion that prompted Dr. Valente to achieve not only this special stature as a professional, but to become one of the most celebrated and loved caregivers and mentors in the field of audiology. He has also been the recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Award and the Presidential Citation from the American Academy of Audiology.
