Dizziness & Balance Center

The Dizziness and Balance Center at Washington University is a specialized test facility within the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. We are dedicated to comprehensive state-of-the-art evaluation of dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance. Located on the 11th Floor of the Center for Advanced Medicine, the Center offers testing of all aspects of inner ear function.

Nedim Durakovic, MD, Director of the center, is well known for his expertise in vestibular evaluation. Belinda Sinks is a full-time dedicated vestibular audiologist with over 20 years experience in the conduct and interpretation of vestibular testing.

Dr. Sinks clinical interests include vestibular function and evaluation, dynamic subjective visual vertical, video head impulse testing, cervical and ocular vestibular evoked myogenic potentials, balance prostheses, and late effects of cancer treatment that impact balance and quality of life in children.
