Patients who have undergone treatment for head and neck cancer face very unique needs. At Washington University, we have an excellent support system designed to meet the needs of head and neck cancer survivors. Through our Head and Neck Survivorship Clinic, cancer survivors are able to receive in depth and specialized attention and care.
We also host a Head and Neck Cancer Support Group that meets once a month. The support group is an invaluable resource for patients with newly diagnosed head and neck cancer as well as long-term survivors. At each meeting, educational speakers discuss topics specific to head and neck cancer and we provide a forum for survivors and caregivers to connect and support one another. For more information, you can find the survivors support group on Facebook.
