Washington University Clinical Audiologist Lauren English discusses her role in the community and her love of F1 racing.
What is your current title, and how long have you been with Oto and WashU?
I have been an audiologist in the department for almost three years. Prior to that, I was an audiologist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for 12 years, specializing in vestibular testing.
What do you like most about your work here?
I love being able to help patients in any way that I can.
How would you describe life in the English household?
We are a family that is active in the community. We are also very active in our kids’ school and sports activities.
Do you have a favorite activity or pastime?
My husband Alex and I love to travel.
Is there a special something at the top of your bucket list, and why?
I have become an F1 racing fan, and my husband is an avid Manchester United fan. One of our long-term goals is to visit Manchester, England, and watch a match at Old Trafford Stadium, followed by a tour of Europe with an F1 race in Italy.
