I currently serve as clinic manager for the pediatric division of the Department of Otolaryngology.  I do whatever it takes to make sure each clinic runs smoothly. I oversee clinic staff and fill in as needed.

What do you like most about WashU?

There are many things that I love about Washington University. I love being a part of something larger that makes a difference. October 6th will make my 14th year here at the University. I have found this to be wonderful organization to work for. It is rewarding to work for an organization with such a meaningful mission. I get to work with some great individuals, and there is not a day I do not learn something new about healthcare or myself which is a reward itself. Washington University invests in their employees and offers many different options for growth, development and advancement.

What do you like most about St. Louis?

As a Chicago native what I love most about St. Louis is that the traffic is less congested.   I also love that St. Louis is overflowing with culture and no matter where you look, there is something going on. Pre-covid I loved taking advantage of the different festivals and markets, because each one guaranteed an unforgettable experience.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I am the mother of two beautiful children, Siyanna (20) and Seneca (17). When I am not working, I enjoy listening to live music, watching sports and spending time with my son and daughter and making TikTok videos (I love to dance).  I am also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.  In my spare time, I can be found doing what I enjoy most which is spending time with my sorority sisters helping others by providing service to all mankind.

Dorian and her daughter Siyanna enjoy putting TikTok videos together.
