Our voice specialized speech-language pathologists
A speech-language pathologist or SLP is a specially trained healthcare provider. They hold a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology as well as state licensure and national American Speech-Language-Hearing Association certification. The SLPs in our center are also formally trained in voice and airway issues. They work in conjunction with our laryngologists to determine whether voice or breathing retraining is needed and then see patients independently for treatment. Their practice methods include state-of-the art techniques based on the latest research. For many voice and airway problems, their expertise is essential to providing good care.
