Amit Walia, MD

MD: University of Illinois College of Medicine

Hometown: Naperville, IL

Personal Statement:
I chose WashU for residency because of the breadth and depth of the faculty in each subspecialty of otolaryngology, the emphasis on early, hands-on surgical training, and the numerous research opportunities available. Most importantly, I was impressed how tight-knit the faculty and residents were in such a large residency program.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
