Personal Statement: I chose WashU because the prominent surgical faculty in the department, remarkable facilities, and high volume of patients make for unparalleled clinical and operative learning experiences.

I was especially attracted to the amazing clinical research opportunities afforded by the well-funded departmental research programs as well as the breadth of esteemed faculty members that were eager to provide the mentorship needed to become a capable, well-rounded otolaryngologist.

Outside of the hospital, I enjoy biking, playing volleyball, writing poetry, and solving puzzles. Ask me about my Rubik’s cube collection.
